Boilermakers Local 154 Memorial Scholarship Program
The Local 154 Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to provide an annual $5,000 scholarship to a members’ dependent child in the name and memory of deceased members of Local 154. This program was established in memory of Timothy Adamson, a Local 154 Apprentice who died on June 14, 2004 while working at the Scrubgrass Power Plant Project. In 2017, Local 154 suffered the lost of two Boilermaker Journeyman, Kevin Bachner and John Gorchock, while they were working at the Bruce Mansfield Power Plant. Following this tragic accident, the Scholarship made the decision to change the name to the Boilermakers Local 154 Memorial Scholarship Fund in memory of all deceased members of Local 154.
