Mike began working in the Boilermaker Construction Industry 32 years ago and graduated from the Apprenticeship program in 1999. Mike began working in the Boilermaker Construction Industry 32 years ago and graduated from the Apprenticeship program in 1999. He was selected to represent Local 154 at the Northeast Area Apprenticeship Contest, highlighting his skill and dedication early in his career. He later began working in the Local 154 weld school as an Instructor and in 2014 he was appointed to serve as a Local 154 Business Agent and Dispatcher. Mike was appointed Vice-President and later elected as Vice-President. Shortly after, Mike was appointed President. He has been a delegate to several conventions and was instrumental in establishing the Local 154 Memorial Scholarship Fund. In 2020, Mike was elected as President of Local 154 and later appointed Business Manager by former BM, John Hughes. Mike was elected as Business Manager in 2023 and 2026, where he continues to represent Local 154 at industry-related events throughout the country.

Jim began his career as a Boilermaker in 2001 and graduated from the Apprenticeship in 2004. He has served in various supervisory roles throughout his career. Jim serves on the Local 154 LEAP Committee and is the Chairman of the Local 154 Social Committee. In 2018, Jimmy was appointed Local 154 Vice-President and was later re-elected. In

Steve is a 2nd generation Boilermaker who started over 34 years ago in 1992. He is a graduate of the Northeast Area Apprenticeship Program. Steve has served in several supervisory roles in the field over the years and has been a longtime member of the Local 154 Social Committee. In 2017 and 2020, Steve was elected Health & Welfare Trustee. Steve was elected Secretary-Treasurer in 2023 and re-elected in 2026, where he continues to educate himself on key Health & Welfare issues. Steve has forged a strong relationship with our current Fund administrators and can answer any question when it comes to the Health & Welfare of the union.

33 years ago, Mike began his career as a Boilermaker. Since then, Mike has worked all throughout our jurisdiction and is often chosen to represent Local 154 as a supervisor on job sites. In 2026, Mike was re-elected Executive Board Trustee.

He was elected as Local 154 Executive Board Trustee and began working actively with the Local 154 LEAP committee. He was appointed Business Agent and later re-elected as an Executive Board Trustee. Shawn began working as a Boilermaker in 2002, serving in numerous supervisory roles throughout his career in the field. He was elected as Local 154 Executive Board Trustee and began working actively with the Local 154 LEAP committee. He was appointed Business Agent and later re-elected as an Executive Board Trustee. Shawn is the Chairman of the Local 154 LEAP Committee and has been at the political forefront of important Boilermaker issues. He is continuing to build a reputation throughout the country as a strong advocate for unions, workers and the entire fossil fuels industry. In the 2023 and 2026 election, Shawn ran unopposed and was elected by acclamation as Local 154 Inspector.

Reid is a graduate apprentice who started his career as a Boilermaker over 20 years ago. Throughout his career, Reid has provided supervision on job sites throughout our jurisdiction. In 2023, Reid was elected Recording Secretary and has since been re-elected to continue serving in this role.

Over 18 years ago Matt started his career as a Boilermaker Trainee, graduating the Trainee program in 2007. He has served in supervisory roles throughout our jurisdiction. In 2023, Matt was elected Executive Board Trustee before later being elected Executive Board Chairman.

Jason graduated from the Boilermakers Apprenticeship Program in 2009 and is a Common Arc Certified Welder. Throughout his career, he has served in supervisory roles on numerous jobsites within the Local 154 jurisdiction. In 2026, Jason was elected to serve as an Executive Board Trustee.

Don started his Boilermaker career as a Trainee 18 years ago. In the field, Don has been chosen to represent Local 154 as a supervisor on various job sites and is a Common Arc certified welder. Don was elected Executive Board Trustee in 2023, and later re-elected in 2026 to continue serving this role.

Kipp began his Boilermaker career in 1994 and graduated from the Apprenticeship in 1999. After more than 20 years in the field, he was appointed as the Welding Instructor for Local 154. In 2018, Kipp was appointed Dispatcher, where he continues to serve the membership. Throughout the years, he has worked on several committees including t

In 2018, Kipp was appointed Dispatcher, where he continues to serve the membership. Throughout the years, he has worked on several committees including the Local 154 Memorial Scholarship Committee, Benefit Fund Committee, Referral Committee, Negotiating Committee and Election Committee. Kipp also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing from California University of Pennsylvania. In the 2023 and 2026 Election of Officers, Kipp ran unopposed for Health & Welfare Trustee and was elected by acclamation where he continues to serve.
