Mike began working in the Boilermaker Construction Industry 26 years ago in 1994 and graduated from the Apprenticeship program in 1999. Mike was chosen in 1998 to represent Local 154 at the Northeast Area Apprenticeship Program. In 2005, Mike began working in the Local 154 weld school as an Instructor and in 2014 he was appointed to serve as a Local 154 Business Agent and Dispatcher. In 2015, Mike was appointed Vice-President and was elected as Vice-President in 2017. Shortly after, Mike was appointed President in 2018. Mike has been a delegate to several conventions and has represented Local 154 at industry-related events throughout the country. Mike serves as the Chairman of the Social Committee and is on the Local 154 Memorial Scholarship committee. In 2020, Mike was elected as President of Local 154. In 2022, Mike was appointed Business Manager by former BM, John Hughes. Michael is a member of the Local 154 LEAP Committee.
Sye started his Boilermaker career in 1979 as a 2nd generation Boilermaker. After working for several years in the field, Sye ran for Health & Welfare Trustee in 2002 and was re-elected for his 5th consecutive term in 2014. Sye started his Boilermaker career in 1979 as a 2nd generation Boilermaker. After working for several years in the field, Sye ran for Health & Welfare Trustee in 2002 and was re-elected for his 5th consecutive term in 2014. In 2012, he began working as an instructor in the Local 154 weld school and in 2014 he was appointed as a Business Agent. In 2015, Sye was appointed Vice-President. Sye has represented Local 154 at several IBB conventions and has participated in 4 contract negotiations. In 2017 Sye was elected Secretary-Treasurer and was re-elected in 2020 now serving his 2nd term. Sye continues to educate himself on key Health & Welfare issues and can answer almost any question when it comes to Health & Welfare of the union.
Jimmy started as a Boilermaker in 2001 and graduated from the Apprenticeship in 2004 and has served as a supervisor many times throughout his career. Jimmy was appointed Local 154 Vice-President in 2018 and was re-elected in 2020. In 2022, Jim became President by virtue-of-office. Jimmy is a member of the Local 154 LEAP Committee.
Shawn began working as a Boilermaker in 2002, serving in numerous supervisory roles throughout his career in the field. In 2017, Shawn was elected as Local 154 Executive Board Trustee and began working actively with the Local 154 LEAP committee. He was appointed Business Agent in 2018 and was re-elected as an Executive Board Trustee in 20

Shawn is the Chairman of the Local 154 LEAP Committee and has been at the political forefront of important Boilermaker issues. He is continuing to build a reputation in Western PA as a strong advocate for unions, workers and the entire fossil fuels industry.
Kipp began his Boilermaker career in 1994 and graduated from the Apprenticeship in 1999. After more than 20 years in the field, Kipp was appointed as a Local 154 Welding Instructor in 2015, where he worked until 2017. In 2018, Kipp was appointed Dispatcher. Throughout the years, he has worked on several committees including the Local 154
Kipp began his Boilermaker career in 1994 and graduated from the Apprenticeship in 1999. After more than 20 years in the field, Kipp was appointed as a Local 154 Welding Instructor in 2015, where he worked until 2017. In 2018, Kipp was appointed Dispatcher. Throughout the years, he has worked on several committees including the Local 154 Memorial Scholarship Committee, Benefit Fund Committee, Referral Committee, Negotiating Committee and served on the 2020 Election Committee. Kipp also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing from California University of Pennsylvania.

Michael is a 3rd generation Boilermaker who started his career in 2012. He graduated from the Northeast Apprenticeship in 2017. Michael has served as job site steward, foreman and general foreman at Local 154 and outside of our jurisdiction as well. In 2020, Michael was elected Chairman of the Local 154 Executive Board Trustees. Michael is a member of the Local 154 LEAP Committee.
Brad started his Boilermaker career in 2001 after serving in the United States Marine Corps from 1996-1999. Brad started his Boilermaker career in 2001 after serving in the United States Marine Corps from 1996-1999. Steve is a 2nd generation Boilermaker who started over 25 years ago in 1992. He is a graduate of the Northeast Area Apprenticeship Program. Steve has served in several supervisory roles in the field over the years. In 2017, Steve was elected Health & Welfare Trustee and in 2020 he was re-elected, now serving his 2nd term. Steve is also part of the Local 154 Social Committee.
